September 17, 2012

I had a dream about several things last night. I will try to write down what I remember. Not all things are in chronological order.

I remember receiving a call on the phone to go to Ghana. My brother was also trying to go, but he was looking to go for a longer period of time. However, I received a call saying I could go November 21-26/27 (due to the flight). I remember looking at the calendar on my phone and wondered how Pastor Frank would take it because I would be gone on a Wednesday. I then remember a big storm came. I was near the beach and it felt like a hurricane or big storm. I walked out onto the porch and got struck by lightening and felt like I had a stroke. I immediately thought of Dr. Jim Paton who was struck by lightning this past summer. I remember flying a lot in my dream, but in terms of other details, I can’t remember.

When I woke up, I immediately tweeted about it. Jimmy Paton (Jim Patons sons) was the first person to tweet me about it. It said it might be prophetic (Jimmy and I hadn’t talked in a long time). I talked to him a little bit about it. Then, as I was at the mall with one of the kids, Lane Dipietro, I kept thinking about what this means. So I looked at my calendar to find out what days November 21-27 was. Sure enough, the 21st was a Wednesday.

I am going to spend some time praying about this. I’m not sure if this is literal or metaphor (Since God usually doesn’t speak literally in dreams). If I am supposed to go, it would be a miracle since 2 months to plan some kind of trip like that would be ridiculous. Please pray for me as I search out the meaning of this dream.
