Can anyone know? This truth weakens the bones as the malevolent beast surrounds, these mischievous creatures lie, and the malicious monster conquers. Anger. Agitation. It all speaks to these desolate mendacities! These pondering questions give way to hollow answers. We all become a casualty in our attempts to please man. Focused on what could have been, what has been, what will never be. This anger festers as bitterness builds each new day, brick by brick. We say “take it away.” We cry “save me from myself.” There is no saving as each new deceit pours a drop of sludge on the heart. There is no Light here. There is no Peace here. Like a cold winter chill, this fruit has withered and died. We claim, “this isn’t truth” as truth stares us in the face; haunting us. Pestering us. We seek forgiveness, or a version of it. But animosity has fabricated its own house here. Days, months, years, it has taken. It started with a single deception as these nails were placed strategically for the end to be a falsification of reality. There is nothing genuine here. There is nothing beautiful here. Hell becomes a myth as cruel realities set in. We pray “make me clean.” We scream “No more!” But Hell is eternal and so are its lies. Moving on is a dream once gripped but never held on to. How long must we waste away in the perilous schemes of man. How much longer will friend turn against friend, parents against their kids? This hurt pounds away each night as the structure continues rising. We announce hope among the hopeless and light to the darkness, but the light never finds its way. We like truth, but crypt it within our souls. We enjoy authenticity, but bury those who would posses it. Where there’s no truth, there’s no peace. Where there’s deceit, there’s darkness. Where there’s no light, there’s no life.

When will this tower fall? When will this heart see the Sun rise again? When will Peace find its way? Will this chaos ever end?
