Good evening friends (Or probably Monday morning for most of you :-))

Today we made the trek to Sant Elena, a town that sits in the valley of a couple major mountains. Because of its location there is no drivable road to get there. So we had to hike down 40 minutes and back up an hour after our almost 1.5 hour drive.

The kids there made my heart full. They could not get enough of my drone, my phone, and I even got out my tablet. Because of my bad service, I had little to show them. But they still kept crowding around just in awe of what I had. Once again, I feel very humbled and blessed. I am honored and privileged to have this opportunity to work and play with such amazing people.

I also took some portraits of the kids today, which you can see on my Facebook page.

Tomorrow is a lighter day for us and I’m excited to sleep a little bit extra. Please continue to pray that God’s work and love will be poured out on the people here. Pray that they hear the true Gospel of Jesus and that the Pastors will be able to preach the true Gospel. And pray for myself and the Powell’s to be well rested in order to film and minister to the lovely people of Honduras.

I want to give a special thank you to the Media Mule, who carried up my 50lb backpack today. I told Clay I could hike it. I’ve done it how many times at Ein Gedi, but he insisted haha. (P.S. My wifi isn’t very good here and uploading pictures takes a long time, so I haven’t uploaded many in these emails. If you aren’t able to see them on FB or want to see others, let me know and I’ll upload them to a cloud drive for you to see)
